THE RIBBON, AND THE CARD ON THE RUBBER BAND ARE FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY, AND MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE LIGHTING THE CANDLE.
TRIM WICK to 7 mm (1/4 inch), and straighten it, so that it is in an upright position, before lighting.
EXTINGUISH FLAME WHEN IT REACHES THE WAX BASE.
ALWAYS place candles on a fireproof base and NEVER leave burning candles unattended.
Keep burning candles OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
NEVER place burning candles on or near anything flammable.

Protect candles from draughts, otherwise they will begin to smoke and burn on just one side, causing the wax to run.
Keep the wax pool free from debris, such as match remnants, wick trimmings, etc.
After extinguishing a candle, straighten the wick again, so that it is in an upright position when next lit.
